Each week, I will share three songs (or jams) I have been listening to recently that I think YOU should listen to. To check out all the previous weeks, click the link in the description or visit thisisstormsound.com.
First up this week is Flight by Snarky Puppy from the Grammy-winning live album Sylva. Partnering with the legendary Metropole Orkest, this song comes equipped with an incredibly funky vibe and amazing solos from Chris Bullock on sax and trading between Cory Henry and Justin Stanton on keyboards.
Next we have Blowout by John Carroll Kirby. This track was recommended to me recently – as a lover of keyboards, it really hit the spot! Kirby utilizes a Prophet synthesizer to craft an awesome groove in this instrumental track!
Finally, we have All That’s Left of Me Is You from Vulfpeck’s latest album Schvitz. Multi-instrumentalist Theo Katzman blends his own signature style with some serious Beatles influence on this catchy and well-written ballad!
