This week, I have three picks from new music that has been released recently!
First up is Joyride by Karina Rykman. From the bassist’s upcoming debut album, this amazing and psychedelic tune will be stuck in your head as you dance to the catchy melody – it also features Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio ripping an amazing guitar solo!
Next we have The Bull Goose Loony by Joe May. A good friend of mine based in North Carolina, Joe has been on the scene for a number of years now as part of jam-soul group Pluto Gang. His debut solo record is out TODAY and is definitely something that you should listen to – his keyboard tones are off-the-charts awesome!
Finally, we have Chamelonious Monk by Organ Fairchild. After discovering this amazing trio at Summer Camp a couple of weeks ago, I was ecstatic to learn that they have a new album coming out! Get lost in the swinging grooves and amazing chops that these guys display!
