Each week, I will share three songs (or jams) I have been listening to recently that I think YOU should listen to. To check out all the previous weeks, click the link in the description or visit thisisstormsound.com.
This week, we’re commemorating the ongoing Goose fall tour!
First up is Thatch from September 22nd in Bonner, MT. Whether you agree if it’s the current jam of the year or not, it’s hard to deny the excellence of this 25-minute excursion! Rick really pushes the band into some aggressive and darker themes throughout.
Next up is Rosewood Heart featuring Griffin and Taylor of Dawes from Borderland Festival on September 15th. Some amazing guitar interplay in the first half leads to a breathtakingly blissful motif in the second half. Could listen to that theme for hours!
Finally, we have Wysteria Lane from Detroit on September 17th. While this whole jam is amazing, the real star is the mellow piano outro spawned by Peter as the peak died out. A really laid-back vibe that was a perfect outro to this jam!
